The JBA PERFORMANCE EXHAUST 1961S-2 is a shorty header set built for 2009-2019 Dodge Ram 1500 trucks running the 5.7L Hemi, in both 2WD and 4WD configurations. These headers replace the restrictive factory exhaust manifolds with mandrel-bent 409 stainless steel tubing to improve scavenging and free up power across the rev range. They carry a California EO approval, so they stay street legal where many performance parts can't go. JBA uses 1 5/8-inch (1.625 inch) 16-gauge primary tubes feeding into a 2.5-inch collector with the company's Firecone merge design, which smooths the transition into the collector for cleaner flow. The flanges are laser-cut at 3/8-inch (0.38 inch) thickness, so they resist warping and seal tight against the cylinder heads. The complete 409 stainless construction holds up to heat and corrosion better than mild steel, and the natural finish keeps cost down compared to ceramic-coated variants. Each set ships with head flange gaskets, installation hardware, the California EO sticker, and instructions. This is the base 1961S-2 in natural finish; coated versions exist under separate part numbers if you want a different look under the truck.

These shorty headers work well as the first step in a 5.7L Hemi exhaust build, since they fit within the factory packaging without the headaches of a long-tube swap.
